• Dr. Salik had great detailed knowledge regarding my recent hospital stay and was familiar with information provided regarding prior recent history. Dr. Salik provided thorough information about my condition and pathway/hurdles going forward, assuaging my concerns/anxiety. Follow-up from his office/department was quick and consistent with information provided. A follow up appointment was made.

• Dr. Salik was a joy to work with. As a particularly complex patient, I was relieved he'd read through my records and knew what meds I'd tried, etc. I'd experienced a significant delay in getting to my appointment that day, and was so late that it would have been 100% reasonable to deny seeing me, but he did anyway even though we had less time. It all worked out! Due to him having read so much and his openness in hearing what I already knew what was happening, we still managed to get through everything that mattered and make a decision about a new med. He treated me with respect, spoke to me like he understood I had a high level of understanding, and it was just great! I was so relieved and impressed. He could have declined seeing me, but did so anyway - and without judgement. I don't know that I would have been capable of that. He ordered the right tests, offered the right medication, and offered video visits so I wouldn't have to have increased exposure. I'm thrilled to be his patient! He even has a sense of humor, which always helps.

• Dr Salik is a special cardiologist and I am lucky he is now part of my care team. He is engaging and takes the time to listen. He did not rush me and spent quality time with me. • The issue that I went to see Dr. Salik for is something I've been dealing with since 2020. Over that time, I've seen multiple specialists, multiple doctors, and I have to say that none of them had provided the level of concern, care, empathy, and understanding that Dr. Salik did. He clearly knew my case, the history. He even went so far as to tell me about how he studied my case over the weekend, which seemingly would be his own time. But then when I was in the office with him, his compassion level was extraordinary and his knowledge equally is extraordinary. And I left there feeling extremely comfortable, which is something that I haven't experienced in the last five years of dealing with this. So it was just amazing. And I'm very hopeful that moving forward, he'll be able to help me with what's going on in my health right now.
