Leah Sax, MD, is a fellowship-trained laryngologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of voice, airway and swallowing disorders. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of laryngeal conditions, including dysphagia,vocal fold paralysis and paresis, laryngotracheal stenosis and benign and malignant vocal fold lesions such as nodules, polyps, cysts and papilloma.

Her treatment approach combines medical therapy, in-office awake procedures, and surgical interventions. She offers a variety of advanced in-office treatments, including vocal fold augmentation for paralysis, steroid and Botox injections, laser procedures and biopsies.

Dr. Sax is committed to improving patient outcomes through research and quality improvement. Her research interests are focused on reducing the incidence of posterior glottic stenosis and acute laryngeal injury associated with endotracheal intubation. Through standardized protocols, educational outreach, and outcomes monitoring, she aims to prevent these life-altering complications and improve patient safety and quality of life.
