• This dr is not my primary dr but I was very happy with the experience.

• I feel incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Yarima Santiago as my provider for so many years. Over that time, she has come to know me, my medical history, and what is important to me as a patient. She is consistently thoughtful, thorough, compassionate, and attentive. She truly listens, takes my concerns seriously, explains things clearly, and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. What I appreciate most is the trust and continuity we have built over the years. I feel comfortable talking openly with Dr. Santiago, even about difficult or very personal concerns, because I know I will be heard, respected, and cared for. She takes the time to look at the whole person rather than simply addressing one concern in isolation. It is increasingly difficult to find a provider with whom you have this level of trust and confidence, and I never take that for granted. I genuinely feel cared for and supported by Dr. Santiago. I am incredibly grateful to have her as my provider and hope she knows how much I value her and the difference her care has made in my life over the years. Dr. Yarima Santiago is an exceptional provider, and Cooley Dickinson is incredibly fortunate to have her.

• I have had Dr Santiago as both my primary care physician and the doctor I saw when my primary care doctor was booked since before she bought the practice and then entered into the Cooley network. The folks she bought the practice from were the grandparents of an ex long term girlfriend of mine who got me in as a patient when I was looking for / having a hard time finding a primary care doctor taking on new patients. When we broke up I was a bit concerned given the weird She's never been judgmental and has always approached things that a doctor should talk with their patients about but may often come off as them being judgement such as weight gain. She isn't dismissive nor makes me jump through hoops for instance I called for an anti-biotic from infected tooth and sent the script right away.

I have seen her twice with my spouse who has more complicated health problems. The provider quickly reviewed my spouse's health history and evaluated symptoms for providing much needed care.

• I saw Dr. Santiago, who was filling in for Dr. [redacted], my primary care physician. This being the first time we met, Dr. Santiago clearly had read my chart thoroughly and in general had collected whatever data she anticipated she might need. She asked me to confirm some details and highlights, but did not need me to describe my complaint at great length. I was grateful for this, having had the opposite experience with many doctors in the past [redacted] Dr. Santiago's questions were pertinent, and she didn't demur in answering mine. She suggested a diagnostic procedure that I would never have thought of, even after reading part of a Wikipedia entry, but which seemed directly on point and important. She did not treat me like an easily dismissed child, or ever complaining old person. Dr. Santiago seems more than competent. I was lucky she was my doctor. [redacted]

• I was miserable and suspected flu so I wanted Tamiflu but a flu test was required. On the way to Urgent Care where I would have had to wait hours I stopped at the office. The clerk said no appointments were available but he went out of his way to fit me in after consulting with the doctor. I then had only a one hour wait. The doctor was excellent even though I am not her regular patient. I am most appreciative all around. Bravo staff.
