• I was highly impressed from the moment I came in. Everybody was very friendly, very helpful. My MRIs were not sent over from my primary care physician at that point, but there was a narrative that the doctor was able to utilize to help provide next steps. He also ordered x-rays on the spot that were done quickly and professionally so that they could look at that. They basically worked around the difficulties of not having all the information they should have. And then when they did get the information they should have a few days later, I was quickly followed up with by the doctor. So I was, again, very, very impressed. Everything was extremely professional and everything was done to help me get the best information and potential outcome for not just now, but for down the road. So I would highly recommend this doctor. I highly recommend the entire staff at the clinic.

• Dr Thut is excellent and was kind enough to review my hip xrays even though he is a knee specialist. The one challenge I have with the Orhopedic practice is each doctor cares for limited parts of a patient. I get the specialty component of the practice, espepcially when it comes to accidents. But when a patient is getting older, not having any accident to a specific bone, but is going through multiple joint challenges and pain, it would be nice if there were some coordination of the multiple visits, perhaps by an orthopedic primary care provider that takes into account all the challenges a patient is having as the specialists just refer you to another body part specialist and then to another body part specialist. The orthopedic practice doesn't seem to have a patient doctor.

• This was my first visit with Dr. Thut. He was forthright and amenable to discussing the issues with both of my knees and my shoulder. He came well recommended to me and I feel he has the knowledge, expertise, and experience to be helpful to me both in the short run and long term. I would like to have had more of his time to discuss the pros and cons of the various options open to me to address my progressing ostseoarthritis. (We started about 30 minutes later than scheduled, and I had a subsequent PT appointment in Stratham that constrained my time on that day.) I look forward to a follow up visit with Dr. Thut after the shoulder MRI he ordered and after I've been more fully briefed on what is involved in the LDR option.

He was jittery and jumpy and eager to leave. He spoke very fast and seemed annoyed I had questions. Some of the info he provided surprised me even after having seen him 1.5 yrs ago and watched every single video on his site prior to my visit. It threw me for a loop. And he seemed annoyed with me for asking more. THis experience was VERY different from when I met him 1.5 years ago where he was relaxed, open, courteous and patient. This is why I came back here when ready to move ahead w the replacement. Honestly if this had been my first experience I would never agree to the surgery here. As it is, I am uncomfortable w my decision - not a great way to approach major surgery. Hoping this was a one -off experience.

• This was the first time I saw Dr Thut . He was very kind and knowledgeable. He had reviewed all the appointments and past X-rays and MRI's I already had . After a few exercises with my feet and knees , he ordered a hip X-ray which I was surprised to find out that my left hip was full of arthritis . I did not know that it could cause my knee issues . That could explain why there wasn't really enough arthritis in my knee to warrant further exploration in my knee but rather to explore my hip . That certainly was not on my radar .
