• Dr. Toribio was nothing short of a Superstar Physician. Extremely familiar with the specialty Drug/Program/Protocol we were meeting about. Clearly smart about internal medicine aspects we needed to address. Very Evident that she had spent at least a few hours prepping paperwork/researching lab data/my complex medical history in EPIC. VERY fastidious, thorough, detail oriented, organized. Great Communication Skills: FOLLOWS Through/Confirms/Never drops the ball. And she demonstrated deep compassion, empathy , sensitivity, even sorrow when she examined my legs and their severe swelling/deformity when she heard it was caused by my severe Domestic Violence attack. I told her a little about it-and though we were running a bit over time parameters, she was committed to standing with me and being present, emotionally available about the Traumatic Event and the Treatment Plan/Prognosis for my legs. Dr. Toribio is a Valuable Asset to the MGH NeuroEndocrine Practice and her behavior shows strong convictions and values around empathy, true caring, compassion being strong component in the Physician/Patient Relationship.

• I was a bit taken aback that she hadn't reviewed my MRI prior to our mtg. She uses a lot of medical terminology that is difficult for me to understand. She goes down rabbit holes with medical explanations and I have to summarize the takeaways. However, overall she is an excellent doctor, smart, and attentive.

• Doctor Toribio is familiar with my various health issues and helps me figure out how to optimize my health. Over the past few years, she's been great at helping me adjust on and off medication as well as letting me know why she orders certain tests and what their results mean. Her team has been pleasant and proactive with scheduling and any health concerns I have had.
