• Great visit and informative about my kidneys and health in general

• Dr. Tan is the best nephrologist that a child could have. My son, [redacted], is deaf. I'm interpreting what he's saying. And he says that he gives him a lot of time to raise his concerns, to ask his questions, and to have him listen to the interpretation because he needs an ASL interpreter since he's deaf. He also, he always, Dr. Tan goes above and beyond. He always communicates with his other physicians because my son has a lot of physicians with his case and his diagnosis.

• Dr. Tan has consistently been a fantastic provider for our son, who was born with a scary renal condition. He communicates clearly, takes time to answer our questions thoroughly, and employs a shared decision-making model with us in managing our son's long-term care. We are so grateful for and pleased with Dr. Tan!

• My son has been seeing Dr Tan since 2021 for high blood pressure. As of today, it's still not under control/resolved. In the past 6 months the exact cause of the high blood pressure has been confirmed. With that confirmation I feel we should have a remedy.

• Dr. Tan was very knowledgeable in my son's disease. He was well connected and very supportive of collaborative care with experts. He was also very flexible and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that our care with MGH Brigham, with the nephrology department would go seamlessly as we were new patients. So, overall, our care under Dr. Tan, this first meeting was excellent, and we're very happy to have him as our pediatric nephrologist. Thank you.

• I really loved how he started the conversation and made me feel like a real person and not just a number. This was an anxiety provoking appointment for me, so I really appreciated him taking his time, explaining everything slowly and carefully, pausing for understanding, empathizing with me and my mom, and taking me so seriously.
