Dr. Uhlmann is a native Bostonian who has also lived in NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tucson, and Switzerland. She graduated from the Winsor School and went on to attend Wellesley College, University of Arizona College of Law, and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Uhlmann completed her Internship and Residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA, and her Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Fellowship at University of California Hospitals, San Francisco, CA.
Prior to joining MGH Concierge Medicine in 2019, Dr. Uhlmann practiced medicine at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates for over ten years. In addition to working full-time as a clinician, she also teaches medical students at Harvard Medical School and has repeatedly been recognized as an outstanding medical educator. Dr. Uhlmann’s clinical interests include cardiovascular health, lifestyle medicine, preventative medicine, and weight loss medicine. This latter area is a true passion for Dr. Uhlmann; she struggled with weight at various times in her life and recently successfully lost fifty pounds and enjoys sharing her weight loss journey with her patients.
Dr. Uhlmann is the proud mother of a teenage daughter and of her French Bulldog, Rocky. She is an avid skier, snow shoer, biker, and hiker and also enjoys reading fiction, biographies, and autobiographies in her spare time.
