Remy Van Sanford, MD, graduated summa cum laude from Emory University in 2011 with a bachelor’s of science in neuroscience and behavioral biology. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and was a four-year member of the women's rowing team. Dr. Van Sanford then obtained her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 2015. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio where she did research in obstetric ultrasound and resident training in minimally-invasive laparoscopy. After residency, Dr. Van Sanford practiced for three years as a generalist in Seattle, WA. She is thrilled to be able finally to plant roots back home in the Boston area where she was born and raised.
Dr. Van Sanford is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her spare time, Dr. Van Sanford enjoys rowing, running, cycling and spending time with her twin daughters and dog, Sawyer.
