Dr. Weitzman seems fine, answers most of all my questions. We are getting to know each other. It takes a while to get to know a new doctor. I'm learning the office procedures and how they like to do things with the secretaries and nurses, etc. I guess I don't understand everything, but that's probably my fault because of my age. That's about it. I don't know what button to push now.

I have been seeing Dr. Weitzman for over 5 years since he properly diagnosed multiple myeloma and he had been treating me since then. Prior to 'his' diagnosis, several doctors reiterated that I had osteoporosis and did nothing to confirm or disprove that 'label'. Finally, my then PCP referred me to Dr. Weitzman and he was able to provide a working diagnosis and confirming tests within a very short time. Unfortunately, the 5-6 month delay in diagnosis left me with numerous bone fractures (including 6 spinal fractures) and mobility limiting bone pain. I wish I had been referred to Dr. Weitzman much sooner and I will always appreciate his medical knowledge and the help that he has provided -- and continues to provide -- to me. He gets a gold star from me!

I have been seeing Dr. Weitzman since I was first diagnosed with CLL in 2018. He has been very reassuring and has explained all aspects of this disease in a manner that is very easy to understand. I would recommend him to anyone else who has been diagnosed with this disease.

Dr. Weitzman has been my principal oncologist for over 10 years. He is excellent. He listens, remembers, follows my test and treatment results even when I am participating in a trial in Boston (I am currently on my third trial). He is caring and takes seriously the importance of balancing my treatment with my quality of life. He seeks and respects my opinion when we discuss moving to a different treatment when one is no longer working (as happens frequently with multiple myeloma). He values maintaining my overall well being as much as possible, while living with cancer. I couldn't ask for a better oncologist.

He is the one who regulated my "numbers" to where they ahould be . . . and has kept them there . . . for years. Obviously, I am quite grateful for him.

Dr Weitzman and his colleagues work as a team, leave room for questions from patients and explain test results carefully, leave room for patients' questions, and always ask "how are you feeling?" I have been very pleased with the medical expertise and concern for the patient. [redacted]

Outstanding. Dr. Weitzman was up to date on the recent history of my father's health since our last visit and clearly explained everything. He agreed with our request to stay off the medication (because of a new medication for his a fib) and offered another solution for the future if needed.

I have trust in this provider and from my experience he is one of the best providers in the field of CLL that I could have. He takes the time to know my status, history and progress with the disease, all the while taking into account my personal vulnerabilities, condition, and concerns. I couldn't ask for anything better and appreciate so much that he is in network. Thank you!

No fault of the doctor, as he was backed up in his schedule, no doubt giving good care to other patients as well, as it could have been me, but I find it very objectionable to be placed in an examining room and sit there and wait for 40 minutes because the doctor is backed up. I should be allowed to sit in the reception area until the doctor is available.
