[redacted] Dr. Wein's questioning of me seemed highly targeted, appropriate, and with a logical end point of determining why my Alkaline Phosphatase is elevated. Of importance to me, Dr. Wein did not hesitate to weigh-in on the appropriateness of a liver biopsy, ordered by Dr. [redacted]; Dr. Wein instilled confidence by telling me that I was being cared for by two, superb MGH Specialists, Drs. [redacted], and [redacted]. I left my appointment with Dr. Wein, with the highest of confidence in his clinical acumen.

• I saw a nurse or nursing assistant only for a minute. She took my blood pressure and weighed me. The physician (care giver) knows my condition and has respected my desire not to be medicated for my condition until necessary. He provides information and research to help me make an informed decision. He also listens.

• At the particular endocrinology clinic. I was not treated in a respectful manner, by the clerks at the front desk. I was in a wheelchair and needed to use the restroom, but the clerk did not put the brakes on the wheelchair, because the wheelchair was still moving, when I came out of the restroom I believe the staff needs to have more sensitive training, when dealing with people who have different types of disability, because I did not feel that I was treated in that manner
