• I cannot emphasize how fortunate both myself and MassGeneral are to have Dr Weiner as a caregiver. This gentleman is the best of both worlds- he is clearly a knowledgeable clinician who brings the human side of care into a patient visit. He is timely, prepared for the visit having reviewed relevant notes from outside physicians as well as test results prior to the visit. He calmly and clearly explains what can be overwhelming knowledge of the human heart in terms that can be understood by the patient. He allows time for conversation, and looks directly at the patient, rather than the computer screen while talking. Unfortunately, THIS is most often NOT the case when seeing clinicians! I feel confident in his recommendations for my care, and that HE personally reviews and reaches out to me in follow-up. Again, this does not often happen with other clinicians. I can say that this heart doctor practices his craft WITH heart; this is something not learned in medical school; rather, an innate desire to help others, and to do so in a "heart"felt manner. SO grateful to have him as my cardiologist!!

From the time he entered the room I felt like he would have sat with me for as long as he needed to without making the appointment feel rushed in order to get all the info he needed form my health history to create a plan for my cardiac work up.
