Dr. Young is a native of Northern Ireland, and his training is outlined below. Following his training he joined the faculty of the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1980 and subsequently specialized primarily in gynecologic pathology with a significant secondary interest in urologic pathology. He has written extensively in the form of peer-reviewed papers, reviews and books in both areas. He remains on the staff as senior member of the gynecologic pathology division.
