The Mass General Blood Draw Lab on the main campus provides laboratory services for Mass General Brigham (MGB) patients with an active order in MGB Epic. Orders from outside or non-MGB providers are not accepted.

Most services are available on a walk-in basis. Glucose tolerance testing (GTT) requires an appointment - please call 617-726-3215 (option 2) to schedule.

Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
• Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Check-In Locations

• Weekdays: Wang Building, 2nd Floor, Room 221 (WACC221)
• Saturdays: Wang Building, 5th Floor, WACC516

Services & Requirements

• Blood collection: Patients age 16 and older
• Urine and other specimens (e.g., COVID, flu, MRSA swabs): Patients age 13 and older
• All services require an active order in MGB Epic

EKG Services

EKGs are available at WACC221 only with an MGB Epic order. Outside cardiology orders are not accepted.

EKG Hours:

• Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
• Tuesday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Weekends & holidays: Closed
