Pharmacy and Medication Services

Our pharmacists are an essential part of your care team, lending their medication expertise to your care in the inpatient and outpatient settings. They provide expert guidance and education to patients and care teams, emphasizing safe and effective medication use.

About our pharmacy services

Mass General Brigham licensed pharmacists work closely with patients, families, and care teams to support safe and effective medication use.  They review prescriptions, answer questions, and provide personalized guidance.

Pharmacy and medication services are available across our hospitals and outpatient clinics, as well as through our specialty pharmacy program. Pharmacists collaborate with care teams to guide treatment decisions, manage side effects, and promote medication safety.

Pharmacists also offer one-on-one education to help patients understand their prescriptions and feel confident managing their care at home.
