Located outside the 15 Francis Street entrance, this landscaped area offers a moment of quiet with outdoor benches.

Cohn Courtyard
Recharge in the courtyard, located at Shattuck Street at the back entrance of the 75 Francis Street main lobby.

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital

Arnold Arboretum
Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is across the street from the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, where patients and visitors are welcome to stroll through their walking trails. Use the pedestrian crosswalk from the hospital and turn left onto Centre Street to reach the gate entrance.

Ashton Family Terrace
This dedicated outdoor space is available to patients staying in 2 South, the hospital’s inpatient psychiatry unit.

Cooley Dickinson Hospital

The Healing Garden offers a sanctuary for patients, visitors, and staff, located in the space between the former Locust Street entrance and the Kittredge Surgery Center/North building. A lighted, bench-lined walkway runs alongside the new building where bricks, donated by community members, are placed.

Martha’s Vineyard Hospital

Massachusetts General Hospital

Healing Garden
The Howard Ulfelder, MD, Healing Garden is a 6,300-square-foot rooftop garden accessible from the eighth floor of the Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care. The garden welcomes cancer patients, families, and staff.

Russell Museum
This garden is located on the roof of the Paul S. Russell, MD, Museum of Medical History and Innovation. The museum is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and is located at the corner of Cambridge and North Grove Streets.

Wang Ambulatory Care Center
A landscaped area with outdoor seating sits adjacent to the Wang Center and in front of Tea Leaves and Coffee Beans Café.

Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care
The Yawkey Center offers an outdoor patio for all patients and visitors in front of Coffee South and the Riverside Café.

Nantucket Cottage Hospital

A serenity garden is available just outside the hospital with sculptures and a seating area.

Salem Hospital

The Epstein Center for Behavioral Health features outdoor spaces for patients, including a rooftop garden and a children’s courtyard with outdoor play areas.

Spaulding Rehabilitation

An extensive outdoor therapy garden is available for patients to work with clinicians and practice navigating on a variety of surfaces.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital

A Healing Garden located outside the Garrison Wing is a peaceful area designed to help reduce stress for patients, families, visitors, and employees.
