Through our collaboration, Mass General Brigham and South Shore Health bring world-class specialty care closer to home for South Shore residents, with a clear pathway to Mass General Brigham hospitals in Boston for cases requiring more advanced treatment.
Treatments and services:
- Women's health – breast care, gynecological oncology, reproductive endocrinology, and urogynecology
- Cardiology and neurology including stroke care
- Surgery – general, thoracic, vascular, colorectal, bariatric, and trauma surgery. South Shore Hospital is the region's only verified Level II Adult Trauma Center
- Neurosurgery – Fully operated by Mass General Brigham, bringing comprehensive neurosurgical services to the South Shore community
- Cancer care – The Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore offers oncology, chemotherapy, radiation, and clinical trials locally
