H. Richard Nesson Fellowship
The H. Richard Nesson Fellowship is a tribute to that legacy. The two-year fellowship is awarded annually to an outstanding and promising health care professional interested in health care policy, local or state community health research, or other community clinical care initiatives that address society's critical and emerging health care needs. Individuals selected for the Nesson Fellowship embody Dr. Nesson's characteristics of trailblazing leadership, the ability to anticipate and shape the future, and a lifelong commitment to provide access and quality health care for all.
Fellowship expectations
Throughout the Fellowship, Fellows complete regular reporting and other requirements. These requirements may include but are not limited to: annual progress and final reports, project presentations to various teams/audiences, participation in CCHHE and other team meetings, participation in regular educational seminars/sessions, among other activities. The specific requirements will be finalized in discussion with Fellows and in advance of the start of the new Fellowship cycle.
Compensation
Fellows are provided financial support for the duration of the fellowship. Fellows can receive up to $90,000 per year.
