I was very leery of dealing with another neurosurgeon because usually their ego is so large it's hard to communicate with them. Dr. Cosgrove put me at ease within two minutes. When he told me that he couldn't help me I believe he was genuinely sorry. Above all, I appreciated his honesty and empathy. He even took the time to explain other options for my condition that were not in his purview.
