Tavinder Phull

As Vice President of Community Health, Tavinder Phull, MPH, MBA, collaborates closely with community health leaders from across the Mass General Brigham system to develop a highly effective strategy aimed at reducing health inequities in the communities we serve and demonstrating measurable improvement in community health outcomes. She provides critical leadership to our system’s broad-based community health transformation efforts, including the United Against Racism work underway to improve outcomes in the communities we serve.

Tavinder joined Mass General Brigham in 2001 as a senior analyst, research and evaluation. In 2004, she became Associate Director, Community Health Evaluation and Research, directing a team that guided and supported the community health assessment and planning activities of member hospitals in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. She has spent the past seven years as Director of Reporting and Compliance for Mass General Brigham Community Health.

Tavinder holds a Master of Public Health in biostatistics/epidemiology and health services management from the Tufts University School of Medicine along with a Master of Business Administration from the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from Boston University.

Throughout her distinguished career, Tavinder has shown the ability to build strategic partnerships along with new processes and workflows that support organizational initiatives.
