In the United States alone, more than 6 million people are living with Alzheimer’s disease. For the past three decades, researchers across the Mass General Brigham healthcare system have been working to understand how and why Alzheimer’s disease develops. Today, researchers are building on those discoveries to lead cutting-edge research and clinical trials, with the goal of not only finding effective treatments but also preventing Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
