Transforming Emergency Care: The Campaign for the Cooley Dickinson Hospital Emergency Department

As the finishing touches are being put on the new Emergency Department, an important need was identified: A new X-ray suite and equipment. The Golf FORE Health Committee has stepped up and committed to making this critical investment a reality.

Demand for emergency care at Cooley Dickinson Hospital has grown significantly —from approximately 17,000 patient visits annually in the 1970s to nearly 40,000 in recent years. Each year, Emergency Department teams treat close to 300 traumatic injuries, and last year alone more than 6,000 patients required admission for further care.

The new Emergency Department is designed to meet the challenges of the 21st century and to provide advanced, specialized care our community needs. With your support, Cooley Dickinson Hospital will be ready to care for you, your loved ones, and our community when it matters most.
