• It always seems rushed. You wait and then it's rush rush rush. It seemed like the doctor was working an assembly line. She was very good, but seemed hurried. It didn't seem that way when my appointments were at the hospital. These appointments are about my health and well being and it shouldn't feel I just got my tires rotated instead of keeping me hale and healthy.

• I feel very fortunate to have Dr Sheftel as my healthcare provider. Now that my atrial fibrillation is well under control, she will have primary responsibility for my heart health going forward. Dr Sheftel is knowledgeable, listens to attentively my concerns and explains matters in a clear, easily understandable manner. At this visit, she had no explanation as to why my LV ejection rate had dropped about 10% from a year ago to below 50%. Nonetheless, she formulated a plan involving new procedures, medications, and tests to help determine the issue. I have complete confidence in her as my cardiologist.

I have completely resolved the problem. I'm healthy. I'm walking three miles a day now with the new stent in my heart.

• My visit with my provider was excellent. She was very attentive to my thoughts and concerns and needs. She spent a lot of time with me trying to find a plan that would work. The only time I felt frustrated was towards the end when we "ran out of time." I hadn't come to a conclusion for myself about treatment and she made it very clear that she had to get to her next appointment. So in that regard I felt rushed and pushed aside. She did acknowledge that they didn't schedule her enough time and we had spent a lot of time ttogether but we weren't done and I don't live in the country full time so it's not like I can just schedule another appointment.regardless it was frustrating and I felt a little angry and sad. I was leaving almost as unclear about what I needed and wanted as I did when I entered the appointment. With that said - It was the only time that I felt frustrated during my entire appointment.
