Online second opinions

Mass General Brigham provides specialist access for you and your patients. Our online second opinion service is ideal for patients with complex medical questions or concerns. Receiving an online second opinion can offer reassurance about a challenging diagnosis or help plan the most appropriate course of treatment.

Physicians stay involved in the second opinion process as part of a patient-centered team. Together, we talk about solutions and alternatives in a virtual setting.

Note: We offer online second opinions for patients in 42 states. At this time, due to regulatory constraints, we cannot provide online second opinions to patients living in Connecticut, Iowa, Maine, New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virgin Islands, and Wyoming. If your patient lives in one of these states and would like to schedule an in-person appointment at Mass General Brigham, please have them contact the clinical department directly.
