Our approach to providing optimal care
Our mission is to provide convenient and comprehensive care for children and young adults with simple or complex vascular anomalies who are seeking consultation for diagnosis and treatment, second opinions, or discussion regarding alternative strategies for management.
Emphasis on education
We want to help educate patients, families, and health care providers on the wide spectrum of therapies available for the treatment of vascular anomalies, including observation, topical, or systemic medications, laser ablation, compression therapy, sclerotherapy, embolization, or surgical excision. Our emphasis on education has led to many of our colleagues establishing centers of excellence and international programs around the world.
Engaged in research
At Mass General Brigham for Children we are actively engaged in research on the causes and treatments of vascular malformations so that we can continue to improve the lives of patients living with these conditions.
