Our approach to pediatric ENT care

We provide specialized ENT care for children through advanced diagnostics, coordinated treatment planning, and a supportive environment designed for families.
Specialty-trained team
All of our doctors are specialists in otolaryngology with advanced fellowship training in pediatrics. They work alongside nurses, nurse practitioners, and other specialists who focus exclusively on caring for children with ear, nose, and throat conditions. We care for more than 6,000 children each year, giving us uncommon expertise with the full range of conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat.
State-of-the-art facilities, designed for children
As a service centered on children, your child’s comfort and your family’s trust are critical to us. To make your child’s visits more pleasant and less stressful, we provide a friendly environment geared toward children. Our outpatient facility features a two-story playhouse and activities and crafts led by our child life specialists. When appropriate, we welcome parents into care areas to help support children during procedures and recovery.
Advanced diagnostic testing

Accurate diagnosis is essential to effective care. We offer pediatric-specific testing, which may include:

  • Newborn and pediatric hearing screenings
  • Imaging studies, such as X-ray, CT, MRI, or ultrasound
  • Speech-language pathology evaluations for speech and swallowing
Innovative ENT treatments
Our program has a long history of being on the leading edge of pediatric ENT care. Our specialists treat a high volume of children with conditions ranging from complex voice disorders to ear differences such as microtia, and hearing loss with medical, surgical, and reconstructive options. We also treat rare and serious airway conditions in newborns, using the latest techniques to support safe breathing, communication, and development.
Advancing pediatric ENT care through research

Our doctors are also researchers who continually work to advance treatments for ENT conditions. As pioneers in the field, we can often offer innovative treatments not widely available elsewhere. Ongoing research efforts have focused on:

  • Making bronchoscopy, tonsillectomy, and other surgical procedures more effective
  • Growing ears with a patient’s own cells
  • Understanding inherited hearing loss
  • Treating ear infections with a vaccine
