Comprehensive care for lupus
Lupus is a complex autoimmune disease that affects over five million people worldwide. It can involve many parts of the body and cause symptoms that change over time.
At the Mass General Brigham Lupus Program, our experienced team of specialists understand the wide range of challenges that come with living with lupus. We offer advanced diagnosis and treatment for lupus and related conditions, along with guidance to help you recognize flares and manage your health with confidence.

Our approach to lupus care
Because lupus can affect multiple organs and body systems, coordinated specialty care is often an important part of treatment. Our rheumatologists collaborate with specialists in dermatology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, and cardiology who have experience caring for people with lupus. Together, they provide timely, coordinated care and communicate with your other care providers.
Our rheumatologists also have experience helping young people transition from pediatric to adult lupus care and caring for patients with lupus during family planning and pregnancy.
