Mass General Brigham offers specialized programs for people experiencing psychosis and related mental health conditions:

Our approach to psychosis care
Mass General Brigham offers care across the full continuum, including inpatient, outpatient, residential , home-based, and community-based services. Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, health, and daily life, followed by a personalized care plan.
Care may include:
- Therapy
- Medication
- Group therapy
- Peer support
- Educational and vocational support
- Coordination with other specialists
Psychosis treatment is most effective when tailored to where you are in your experience. Our programs include specialized care for:
- Individuals at risk for psychosis
- First-episode and early psychosis
- Ongoing care and recovery
Some people experience early or mild symptoms that may not develop into a psychotic disorder but still benefit from evaluation and support. These symptoms may also be related to other conditions such as anxiety, trauma, or substance use.
Programs include:
- RE-SET Program (MGH): Team-based outpatient care for ages 12–30
- STAR Program (McLean): Early intervention focused on resilience and functioning
Early treatment can lead to better outcomes.
Programs include:
- FEPP (MGH): Care for individuals ages 14–30 experiencing first-episode psychosis
- OnTrack (McLean): Two-year program for young adults ages 18–30
- Young Adult Mental Health (BWH): Ongoing care for ages 18–26
Long-term care focuses on stability, relapse prevention, and quality of life.
Programs include:
- ROCC (MGH): Care for individuals with stable symptoms
- TRS ACCESS Network (MGH): Advanced treatment for treatment-resistant schizophrenia
- Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorders Clinic (McLean)
- Psychosis Across the Lifespan (PALS) (BWH)
We offer specialized services for evaluation and treatment of complex cases:
- Clozapine Clinic (MGH): Expert management of advanced medications
- Psychosis Consultation Service: Second opinions and diagnostic support
- Outpatient Consultation Service (McLean)
- Appleton Program (McLean): Residential program focused on independence and recovery
- PACT (McLean): Community-based, at-home support with 24/7 coverage
Our peer-led programs, family support groups, and community-based services provide practical support, education, and connection for individuals and their loved ones:
- Waverley Place (McLean): Peer-led community support
- WellSpace (McLean): Group-based support for young adults
- Family Support Group: Weekly virtual support for families
We partner with community organizations to expand access to care:

- North Suffolk Community Services (Freedom Trail Clinic)
