Many Mass General Brigham hospitals provide discounted or free parking for patients and visitors. Parking garages, lots, and limited street parking are available near most facilities.

In some locations, parking can be difficult due to heavy traffic. We recommend allowing yourself plenty of time to park when coming to the hospital.

Many of our hospital locations are accessible by public transportation or the Mass General Brigham Shuttle.

Brigham and Women’s Hospital

Visitors and patients may park in the 80 Francis Street ServiCenter Garage, located at the corner of Brookline Avenue and Francis Street.

Valet parking is for patient use only and is available at all three of the hospital’s Francis Street entrances: 15 Francis Street, 45 Francis Street, and 75 Francis Street. The 75 Francis Street entrance offers full valet services 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Valet service at the other locations is available Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

Patients with mobility issues also may also self-park at 45 Francis Street.

Massachusetts General Hospital’s main campus spans nearly 30 buildings. We offer parking for patients and visitors at:

We also offer valet parking at the Wang and Yawkey Centers.

Due to our high volume of visitors every day, we recommend that you use public transportation whenever possible. We are located directly across the street from the Charles/MGH stop on the MBTA Red Line and a short walk from the Bowdoin (Blue Line) and North Station (Green and Orange Line) stations.

Patients with appointments at 165, 175, and 185 Cambridge Street should park in the Charles River Plaza garage, with the entrance at 207 Cambridge Street, next to Flour Bakery. Parking on the outside deck is for Charles River Plaza (CRP) retail customers only.

Patients must have their parking ticket validated by the cashier in the 165 Cambridge Street lobby, or at the garage cashier office located to the right of the garage exit. Patient validation is not available at the exit lane parking equipment.

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital

Patient and visitor self-parking is available at the Atrium Garage and the Hillside Garage. Valet service is available for both garages at no extra charge and patients and visitors are encouraged to use valet service whenever possible.

Validated parking for patients and visitors costs up to $11 per day.

MBTA Bus #38, Wren Street, stops directly in front of Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital on Centre Street. The Wren Street bus shuttles between the West Roxbury business district and Forest Hills station where it connects with the Orange Line and other bus routes. Buses are scheduled to run every 20 minutes during morning and evening rush hours, and less frequently during mid-day.

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is part of the Mass General Brigham Shuttle route.

Patient and visitor parking is available in lots B2 and B3. Emergency room parking is available in lot A near the Emergency Department entrance. Parking for the Cancer Center at the North Entrance is available in lot H. Parking at Cooley Dickinson Hospital is free for patients and visitors.

Free valet parking is available Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays.

Cooley Dickinson Hospital is part of the Mass General Brigham Shuttle route and close to the R42 public bus line.

Mass Eye and Ear

Patients and visitors may self-park at the Charles Street lot or Storrow Drive lot.

The Charles Street lot is handicap accessible. To get there, proceed through the lights under MBTA station; take a hard left reversing direction under the MBTA station. The Mass Eye and Ear, Main Campus parking lot is located off the on ramp to Storrow Drive (west).

The Storrow Drive lot is not handicap accessible. To get there, stay in left lane on Storrow Drive (west). The entrance to parking lot is immediately before approaching Government Center/Kendall Square exit ramp.

Parking can be validated for patients and visitors of Mass Eye and Ear for these two lots at the following rates:

  • 0 to 1 hour: $9
  • 1 to 2 hours: $11
  • 2 to 24 hours: $14

Note: Mass Eye and Ear does not validate parking for Mass General Brigham parking lots or garages.

Valet parking provided by LAZ is available at the Fruit Street entrance to Mass Eye and Ear, Monday through Friday: 5 a.m.-4 p.m. (excluding holidays). Valet parking is $18 for patients and visitors or $15 for patients with a handicap placard. Valet parking vehicle pickup is on Charles Street.

Mass Eye and Ear is part of the Mass General Brigham Shuttle route and accessible via the MBTA red line Charles / MGH stop.

Parking for patients and visitors is free and available on site in the Bowditch lot in front of the Admissions building and Oaks lot. Limited parking is available in front of other McLean Hospital buildings.

Valet parking is free for patients and visitors and available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, excluding holidays. Valet stands are located at the Admissions building and Oaks lot. The Oaks lot is not handicap accessible and valet parking is recommended.

The McLean shuttle is available for patients and visitors traveling via MBTA.

Seven-day discounted parking passes are available for patients and visitors for $35 at the Gift Shop or parking cashier in the West Lobby. The pass provides five entrances and five exits per day for seven consecutive days. Not valid for valet parking.

Valet parking for patients and visitors is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the East, West, and Emergency Department entrances. The flat fee at the East and West entrances is $12 per day. The ADA rate is $4 per day with a valid ADA placard. Placard must be present.

Patients and visitors taking public transportation should use the Woodland stop on the MBTA Green line (D) or the Newton-Wellesley Hospital stop on the Route 1 bus.

Free patient and visitor parking is available surrounding the hospital. Free valet parking is available Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Main Entrance. After 5 p.m., visitors should visit the security desk in the Main Entrance to obtain their keys.

For specific services listed below, see the map for the most convenient parking location.

  • Patients scheduled for an endoscopy or colonoscopy should enter the hospital from the upper entrance off Highland Ave. and follow signage to the Endoscopy entrance.
  • The Lab and Vascular Services building has parking spaces in front for lab and infusion services patients.
  • Birthplace patients go directly to the Birthplace. Use the Upper Entrance from Highland Avenue and follow signs to the right and around to the Birthplace.
  • Our Emergency Department is located on Dove Avenue at the back of the hospital. If you enter by way of Highland Avenue, use the access road to drive to the back and follow signs. There are two designated parking areas for our Emergency Department, as well as handicapped parking for patients.
  • Outpatient pediatric and adolescent Behavioral Health patients and visitors use our Main Entrance.

Patients and visitors may park free of charge in any of our parking areas. For the parking garage, use the entrance located at the middle of the garage across from the Main Entrance of the hospital.

There is an additional parking lot at the entrance for the Emergency Department.

Short- term, 90-minute parking is available in the lot in front of the South and Garrison Entrances.

The Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Care-Van offers courtesy transportation to eligible patients receiving extended treatments at the hospital, including cancer treatments, physical therapy, and wound healing.

For patients traveling by public transportation, a COAST Bus (Route 2) stop is located in front of the hospital on Central Avenue. Visit the COAST Bus website for schedules and route details.
