Our approach to nutrition
Our nutrition services are built on collaboration, expertise, and patient-centered care. Registered dietitians work across inpatient and outpatient clinical areas to deliver evidence-based nutrition care, supported by a culinary team that prepares nourishing meals and snacks each day for patients, visitors, and staff.
Outpatient nutrition services
We provide outpatient care by licensed registered dietitians at our hospitals and community health center locations to help manage many diseases and conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, digestive disorders, pregnancy, cancer, food allergies/intolerances, and general healthy eating/wellness.
Inpatient nutrition services
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, surgery, or illness, proper nutrition is crucial for healing. Your care includes registered dietitians who partner closely with your medical team to ensure you get adequate nutrition. Our food services staff help you select your daily meals and deliver appealing, healthy foods prepared by our executive chef and their team.
Retail food operations
Our food services team also manages the many cafes and cafeterias on our main campuses and in satellite locations. We strive to ensure you have healthy, delicious food options whenever you’re in one of our facilities.
