Our approach to voice, swallowing, and airway care
Our care team includes laryngologists, speech-language pathologists, physician assistants, certified voice therapists, and other specialists with focused experience in voice, swallowing, and airway disorders. They are among the world’s most experienced voice and speech teams.
We also have experience treating patients whose professions place high demands on their voices, such as singers and schoolteachers.
Your evaluation may include specialized testing to better understand how your voice and airway function, such as:
- Acoustic and aerodynamic testing, where we take objective measurements of voice quality that involve recording your air flow and voice
- Laryngoscopy, where we insert a small endoscope through your nose or mouth to look at your vocal folds and larynx
- Speech-language pathology (SLP) assessment, where a voice therapist takes acoustic and aerodynamic measurements of your voice
We understand that voice disorders are complex and highly individual. We create a personalized treatment plan based on your diagnosis, goals, and daily needs. Care may include:
- Medications
- Minimally invasive procedures like Botox or vocal fold fillers
- Advanced surgical options
- Customized voice and swallow therapy
