Our approach to urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. We’ll take the time to listen to you and build a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs and your life.

Your first visit with us
At your first visit, we’ll talk to you about your symptoms and perform a physical exam. We may also schedule urodynamic testing to evaluate your bladder and urethral function.
Nonsurgical treatments

We can treat many pelvic floor problems without surgery. Your nonsurgical treatment options may include:

  • Pelvic floor physical therapy: Specialized care to treat prolapse or incontinence
  • Pessary: A removable device that supports your pelvic organs
  • Biofeedback: A method to help you control and strengthen your pelvic muscles
  • Mind/body medicine: Techniques like meditation to manage bladder disorders
Surgery for pelvic floor disorders

When nonsurgical options don’t help, we offer corrective procedures. Our surgeons specialize in minimally invasive techniques that result in less pain and faster recovery.

Procedures we perform include:

  • Mid-urethral sling: Implant to support the urethra and treat stress incontinence
  • Laparoscopic and robotic surgery: Minimally invasive repairs that use small incisions
  • Vaginal surgery: Prolapse repairs with incisions hidden inside the vagina
