Clinical Pathology

Our clinical pathology team is made up of experts who ensure the quality of laboratory test results by selecting and validating lab instruments, reviewing results, and training medical technologists. They also analyze and interpret tissue and fluid samples. We work with each other and other healthcare providers to provide quick and accurate answers.

Reliable, timely diagnoses

Clinical pathologists ensure and perform accurate and timely analysis of lab samples, such as tissue, blood, or other body fluids. They effectively communicate results to the physician who ordered the test to help guide patient treatment.

At Mass General Brigham, we prioritize reliable, timely diagnoses so you get effective treatment as soon as possible.
