Food Allergy Program

Adults and children with food allergies undergo safe diagnostic tests and treatments at our Food Allergy Program. Our allergy specialists use the latest evidence-based research to offer treatments that protect the health of people with food allergies.

Expert care for all types of food allergies

An adverse reaction (allergy) to a food can be life-threatening. At our Food Allergy Program, our allergy and immunology specialists safely conduct oral food challenges and other tests to accurately diagnose a food allergy. When appropriate, we introduce patients to a food allergen in a safe, controlled environment. We offer food allergy oral immunotherapy to help retrain the immune system so it stops reacting to a food allergen.

Our allergists diagnose and treat all types of food allergies in adults and children. We offer oral challenges, oral immunotherapy, and patient education for those who are allergic to dairy, peanuts, soy, shellfish, and other foods.
