Multidisciplinary care for EoE
Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic immune system disease that occurs when white blood cells called eosinophils collect in your esophagus. Resulting inflammation and scar tissue can narrow the esophagus, making it difficult to swallow.
At Mass General Brigham, patients with EoE receive comprehensive care from a multidisciplinary care team that includes experts in immunology and allergy, digestive diseases, and nutrition.
