Expert care for neuro-ophthalmic conditions
At Mass General Brigham, neuro-ophthalmologists evaluate and treat patients through Mass Eye and Ear and the Neuroscience Institute.
We have a long history of leadership in the field. The service was established at Mass Eye and Ear in the 1940s by David G. Cogan, MD, whose work helped shape neuro-ophthalmology and ophthalmic pathology. Since then, it has continued to advance patient care, education, and research. Physicians across the Mass General Brigham system work together to provide coordinated care for patients with complex neuro-ophthalmic conditions.
