After suffering a stroke at age 22 while playing hockey, Jack was cared for by a multidisciplinary team at the Mass General Brigham Neuroscience Institute, which included intensive care at Massachusetts General Hospital and specialized rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation. With personalized therapy focused on his goals, including getting back on the ice, he regained movement and returned to competitive play.
