We take a comprehensive, personalized approach to care, using effective therapies that complement your medical treatment at every stage of recovery.

PT support at every stage of care

Our physical therapists work in all care settings to help you when and where you need it:

  • Acute care: For patients admitted to the hospital to recover function and assist with discharge planning
  • Inpatient rehab: Intensive, interdisciplinary rehab for patients in the hospital
  • Long-term acute rehab: For complex medical conditions in extended rehab
  • Skilled nursing: For short-term or long-term rehab with skilled nursing support
  • Home care: For homebound patients who cannot visit our outpatient site
  • Outpatient rehab: For patients living at home who can visit one of our over 60 clinics throughout New England
Specialized outpatient physical therapy

Our outpatient physical therapy services support people with a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Cancer, to improve strength, range of motion, fatigue, and lymphedema symptoms
  • Neurologic or vestibular conditions, to improve balance, walking, and dizziness
  • Orthopedic conditions, to help reduce pain and restore movement
  • Pelvic floor disorders, to strengthen muscles and improve bladder and bowel control
  • Heart, lung, and breathing conditions, to improve endurance and reduce fatigue
  • Sports Injuries to safely and effectively return athletes, at all levels, to their sport.
Collaborative, compassionate inpatient care

We work in multidisciplinary, physician-led teams in all areas of inpatient care to:

  • Improve stability for people with dizziness and balance problems
  • Increase mobility, strength, and endurance to help patients reduce physical decline
  • Provide support for specific illnesses and symptoms, such as breathing problems and cancer side effects
