Our approach to physical therapy
Our physical therapists work in all care settings to help you when and where you need it:
- Acute care: For patients admitted to the hospital to recover function and assist with discharge planning
- Inpatient rehab: Intensive, interdisciplinary rehab for patients in the hospital
- Long-term acute rehab: For complex medical conditions in extended rehab
- Skilled nursing: For short-term or long-term rehab with skilled nursing support
- Home care: For homebound patients who cannot visit our outpatient site
- Outpatient rehab: For patients living at home who can visit one of our over 60 clinics throughout New England
Our outpatient physical therapy services support people with a wide range of conditions, including:
- Cancer, to improve strength, range of motion, fatigue, and lymphedema symptoms
- Neurologic or vestibular conditions, to improve balance, walking, and dizziness
- Orthopedic conditions, to help reduce pain and restore movement
