Experienced, multidisciplinary care team
Each member of our sleep and circadian rhythms team provides consultation and care for sleep disorder patients. Your sleep neurology care team will work together will colleagues across Mass General Brigham to provide you with comprehensive, effective care.
State-of-the-art diagnostic sleep laboratory
The Sleep Neurology Program features an outpatient diagnostic center located at the Wyndham Hotel, immediately next to Massachusetts General Hospital. This facility allows us to safely and efficiently conduct overnight sleep testing through polysomnograms. We also perform daytime testing, including the multiple sleep latency test (MSLT) as well as mask fitting and desensitization.
Specialized programs for REM sleep behavior disorder and restless legs syndrome

Our program includes specialized care for conditions such as REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) and restless legs syndrome (RLS).

Our RBD program focuses on early and accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and patient safety, helping reduce the risk of injury during sleep. Because RBD can be an early sign of neurodegenerative disease, this program also supports long-term monitoring and access to research opportunities.

Our RLS care approach provides advanced evaluation and treatment, including iron management, medication optimization, and prevention of symptom worsening. This approach helps improve sleep quality and overall well-being while supporting ongoing research into new therapies.

Active clinical research to advance care
To deepen our understanding of the causes and treatments of sleep disorders, our team conducts clinical trials and collaborative research for the disorders we treat.

Neuroscience clinical trials and research

Our research is shaping the future of neuroscience care. We offer access to clinical trials and emerging therapies, including treatments that may not yet be widely available. Eligibility depends on a person’s diagnosis, treatment history, and more. Explore our research and clinical trials or talk with your care team to learn about available options.
