Supporting you as you navigate life after COVID-19

You may experience a wide range of symptoms after a COVID infection. A team of specialists at our COVID Recovery Center supports your recovery and offers care to ease the long-term effects of coronavirus.

We provide evaluation, symptom management, and referrals to specialized care. We also connect you with research opportunities, offer support groups, and provide educational resources.

Leading long COVID research

We still have more to learn about long COVID. Mass General Brigham remains at the forefront of research to understand the long-term effects and improve care.

You may have the chance to participate in our research through the COVID Recovery Center. Your voluntary participation helps us advance treatments and improve care. Our research includes a collaborative nationwide study to understand the long-term effects of COVID and ways to recover.

Our approach to long COVID care

Our specialists do thorough evaluations so we can understand your symptoms. We aim to improve your quality of life through symptom management and support.
Specialized care for all aspects of long COVID

We coordinate your care with a comprehensive team of specialists who evaluate and treat the various symptoms of long COVID.

Specialists you see may include experts in pulmonology, neurology, rehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, and others. We also provide treatment recommendations to help your primary care provider support your long-term recovery.

Coronavirus recovery treatment and services

We plan your care based on your symptoms and individual needs. Services may include:

  • Behavioral and mental health counseling
  • Occupational therapy to help you with daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Physical therapy to address your musculoskeletal and neurologic symptoms
  • Speech therapy for issues with swallowing and cognitive impairment
  • Virtual visits
COVID support groups and resources

You don’t have to go through this alone. We offer:

  • Patient support group: Share experiences, find support, and discuss coping strategies. Meets twice a month via Zoom.
  • Caregiver and family support group: Your loved ones can get support as they experience the impacts of long COVID. Meets monthly via Zoom.
  • Expert presentations and discussions: Learn about the latest research and treatment information.
