Leading research in pediatric lung health
A major strength of the Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine Program is our research to improve our understanding of asthma, cystic fibrosis, lung inflammation, and regeneration. We have a number of active research programs to look at the mechanisms that induce and control inflammation in the lung, signaling pathways that can be induced to activated regeneration, the networks that control breathing and clinical studies to help develop new therapies for cystic fibrosis.
