Activity-based care for recovery and well-being

Recreational therapy, also known as therapeutic recreation, is a systematic process that uses recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of individuals with illnesses and/or disabling conditions, as a means to psychological and physical health, recovery and well-being (NCTRC).

Together we’ll focus on community reintegration, adaptive sports, pet therapy and leisure skill development. Our skilled practitioners can get you back to the activities you enjoy by assessing your technique and addressing any physical and/or cognitive limitations.

We will match you to a program to help you achieve your goals. We can also connect you to the Spaulding Adaptive Sports program as well as local community resources to further advance healing.
