Once a lifelong athlete who loved running and biking, Paul Horrigan was forced to rely on a wheelchair once he developed debilitating back and leg pain, which eventually led to dystonia. After seven years of trying different treatments, deep brain stimulation (DBS) finally helped him find relief and get back on his feet.
