Eva’s story: Thriving following a novel treatment for depression

1 minute read

Jane Eva ("Eva") Namazzi has a family history of depression and struggled with the condition her entire life. Joan Camprodon-Gimenez, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., Chief of the Division of Neuropsychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, offered Eva hope when he recommended a breakthrough treatment: transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

TMS is a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment for patients with psychiatric or neurological disorders whose symptoms have not improved with routine care. Eva’s experience with TMS has been life-changing: She’s thriving and full of joy today.
