Mass General Brigham was founded by Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. The formation brought together two of the nation’s leading academic medical centers and Harvard Medical School’s largest teaching hospitals. Today, our integrated healthcare system includes:

Spotlight on Tampa General Hospital

Mass General Brigham has been collaborating with Tampa General Hospital (TGH) since 2021. We are proud of what we have been able to achieve together, including:

  • The co-development of a Radiation Oncology Joint Venture in Palm Beach County, which is slated to open in 2026.
  • Formed a Home Base Program partnership for the physical and mental health of hundreds of veterans via Home Base Florida, providing services such as the Warrior Fitness Program and the Brain Health Clinic.
  • Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute shared expertise and best practices with TGH to develop its Bone Marrow Transplant and CAR-T programs, including support for FACT accreditation.
  • Ongoing knowledge sharing including bi-directional learning sessions to optimize performance and best practices.
This collaboration formalizes the long-standing relationship between Tampa General and Mass General Brigham. For years, our leadership, providers, researchers and teams have worked closely to share knowledge, information, findings and outcomes to elevate the level of care we offer.
