Mass General Brigham offers a full range of care for our patients at our world-class institutions to make life-changing impact in our communities and around the world.
Founded by two premier, world-renowned institutions, Mass General Brigham brings its heritage of academic medicine to the patient care delivered at all of our 14 hospitals in our network. Many of our hospitals are consistently ranked as top hospitals nationally and locally by U.S. News and World Report, and several of our hospitals are teaching affiliates of Harvard Medical School.
With specialty and community hospitals throughout New England, Mass General Brigham offers patient-friendly, compassionate care.
Patients have access to a full range of specialty and surgical care, including cancer treatments, neurosurgery, cardiovascular disease, women’s health, orthopedics, and more, as well as emergency care.
Mass General Brigham includes specialty care services at our hospitals and community practices. In addition, our renowned specialty hospitals offer services in pediatrics, psychiatry, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology.
Whatever your unique needs are, we are here for you.
Your health and wellness is important to us. With more than 1,300 primary care providers (PCP) in our network, we offer high-quality preventive, chronic, and sick care, as well as referrals to best-in-class specialists throughout the Mass General Brigham system.
A PCP is your trusted health care provider, who can keep you on the go with regular checkups and screenings, as well as managing any ongoing, chronic conditions you may have.
Many of our PCPs are currently accepting new patients. Some providers with near-term availability are able to see new patients within 30 days.
Advances in home health care and changes in modern medicine have made treatment and therapy at home the right choice for many. People seeking an alternative that balances expert care with the familiar surroundings of home have put their trust in our home care services. We're committed to delivering on that promise for you and your family.
As a national leader in rehabilitative care, Mass General Brigham includes the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, which provides comprehensive rehabilitation and medical management programs. We offer an unmatched level of care, utilizing progressive therapies, technology, and research in rehabilitation care, resulting in superior patient outcomes.
Our network offers inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, and skilled nursing services. We offer access to many specialty treatments, including stroke, brain injury, adaptive sports, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
Our academic and community hospitals also offer inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
Skilled Nursing Facilities
Skilled nursing facilities (SNF) offer a wide range of rehabilitation programs, customized to meet each patient’s needs, whether it's short-term or long-term care.
Because choosing a SNF is an important decision, we encourage patients and families to learn more about the SNFs Mass General Brigham recommends that are part of the SNF Collaborative.
Community health center
With a deep commitment to local residents, our community health centers offer patients convenient, personal care close to home. Caregivers at our community health centers provide patient and family-centered care with a focus on keeping you healthy.
Our five community health centers in the Greater Boston area offer patients in our local communities access to primary care services, including adult and family medicine, as well as resources for nutrition, addiction recovery, and behavioral health support.
Important notice about Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
In response to COVID-19, several of our urgent care locations across the system have modified services or are temporarily closed. It is important that you visit each location's website for more details or call prior to visiting.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, loss of smell, muscle aches, runny nose, shortness of breath, or sore throat) or believe that you have been exposed to COVID-19, please contact your primary care provider or the urgent care location where you want to receive care for direction before seeking care in person.
If you are having a medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Urgent care, sometimes known as walk-in care, fast care, or express care, is a convenient option to treat minor illnesses and injuries that do not require patients to be seen at a hospital emergency department. Our urgent care centers often offer extended hours, when your regular doctor's office may not be open.
Note: Billing for each of the locations listed below differs, depending on whether the center is a physician office location, hospital outpatient location, or standard urgent care location. Please read additional information about urgent care billing.
Mass General Brigham offers convenient ways to communicate with your healthcare provider online and to conduct care with them over the phone or through video. Our virtual care options offer you the convenience of an office visit from the comfort of your own home.
Mass General Brigham Patient Gateway
Many of our doctors are currently offering virtual visits through our online patient portal, Patient Gateway. Be sure to check-in with your own health care provider to see if they offer virtual visits through Patient Gateway. Participating in a Virtual Visit is simple and easy. You can see your provider over Zoom via your Patient Gateway account on a computer with a webcam or a tablet or mobile device. If you don’t have the necessary equipment, software, or computer skills, you can also connect directly on your phone. Our tech support teams are standing by to help you get started.
On Demand offers convenient, high-quality virtual urgent care services. During the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, On Demand can be used to seek medical advice about COVID-19-related concerns, as well as other urgent care needs.
Patients can connect through a secure, interactive video visit on their tablet, smart phone, or computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This service is for adults and children ages 3 and older. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Registration is simple and secure. Smartphone and tablet users will need to download the "Partners HealthCare On Demand" app.
On Demand is NOT for medical emergencies. For medical emergencies, call 911.
