Mass General Brigham continues a long tradition of educating the next generation of physicians, many of whom play leadership roles in all areas of medicine and health care. We have nearly 2,500 residents and fellows in 300 programs, benefiting from an outstanding faculty and staff, local and international patients, and state-of-the art facilities and technology.
Mass General Brigham trains physicians in nearly all specialties and sub-specialties where they receive a rare and rich educational experience.
Our integrated network of academic medical centers, community hospitals, specialty hospitals, health care centers, and primary care practices, include the following institutions:
MGH Institute of Health Professions offers a tested and proven approach to health professions education—grounded in a commitment to health equity, defined by collaboration, and backed by Mass General Brigham.
As the only degree-granting member of this world-class health system, the Institute provides students with access to clinical sites, research opportunities, and mentorship. Our interprofessional model and unwavering dedication to health equity ensure that graduates are clinically prepared and purpose-driven.
From day one, students train the way they’ll practice: together, in service of better care and better outcomes.
The Mass General Brigham Alumni Association is a community of clinicians who share the experience of having completed medical training through any Mass General Brigham Graduate Medical Education program or a postdoctoral appointment. The Alumni Association provides education and mentorship opportunities for Mass General Brigham alumni to help advance patient care across the communities they serve.
