The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) at Brigham aims to enhance workforce diversity by providing career advancement and professional development opportunities and through promoting increased recruitment and retention among all diverse faculty, trainees and staff. The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) at Mass General works closely with all departments to help create a more welcoming environment — a place where students want to learn; residents want to train; and faculty want to stay and advance. We are not only helping translate the growing number of students underrepresented in medicine (URM) into future faculty leaders, but also working to enhance the quality of care for the increasingly diverse communities that Mass General serves.
