Aishat Okesola

Contracts Associate II

As a Contracts Associate at Mass General Brigham Innovation, Aishat Okesola’s role entails drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements, pertaining to innovative medical research and licensing between researchers at Mass General Brigham-affiliated institutions and life sciences companies to facilitate industry-sponsored pre-clinical research.

 

Prior to joining the Innovation team, Aishat worked as an associate at a top-tier Nigerian law firm in Lagos for over three years, where she advised multi-national corporate clients and government agencies on domestic and cross-border transactions, involving acquisitions and divestments, project development, corporate governance, and joint ventures in the energy sector.

 

Aishat holds an LLM degree from Harvard Law School, where she was also the publication editor for the Africa Policy Journal, a Harvard Kennedy School student publication. She received her bachelor of laws degree (first-class honors) from the University of Lagos and a qualifying certificate to practice law in Nigeria (First Class Honors) from the Nigerian Law School.
