Cynthia Chen is responsible for managing industrial relationships and licensing technologies arising from MGH's Cancer Center and Molecular Biology Department. Before joining Mass General Brigham, Cynthia was a Technology Transfer Fellow at the Penn Center for Innovation. There, she supported the commercialization of technologies from Penn Engineering, Penn Medicine, and the College of Arts and Sciences. She also gained experience as a Corporate Strategy Intern at Tessera Therapeutics, where she assisted in the company's search and evaluation efforts. Additionally, Cynthia has two years of pro-bono consulting experience and has worked closely with dynamic law firms.
She earned her Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and holds dual bachelor's degrees in Biological Science and Criminology, Law, and Society from the University of California, Irvine.
