João Amorim

João supports innovation activities and commercialization efforts of healthcare technologies developed by clinicians and researchers of multiple departments at Mass General Brigham. Prior to joining MGB Innovation, João was an Analyst at Catalio Capital Management, L.P., where he focused on scientific and investment diligence on private and public biotech companies. Prior to that, João was an Analyst at Apollo Health Ventures, where he focused on diligence plans to evaluate venture creation and early-stage investment opportunities in mitochondrial physiology.

João holds a PhD from the University of Coimbra and conducted his research at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
